Welch suspenders have been proudly manufactured in the USA since 1967. The Welch Company Inc., a family business, started making suspenders in Portland, Oregon in 1967. Their suspenders are recognized for quality and reliability among the loggers and construction workers. Traditionally, anyone showing up to join a logging crew wearing a belt instead of suspenders was sent home as too green to work with the crew. In 2026 Perry Suspenders purchased Welch. Production of the Welch Suspender brand continues in Perry Suspenders's facility in Illinois. We offer a selection of Welch suspenders to suit a variety of needs.
