This is a reproduction of a bowl in the Canadian Museum of History's Haida Gwaii collection. Although the original bowl was carved in cedar it has been reproduced in the black natural resin composite used with argillite reproductions. Length is 5 inches. Color is argillite black. The highly detailed exterior is typical work of the Haida carvers who worked in both argillite and cedar. Made in Canada.
