Riding Gear
We are pleased to offer riding gear including hats, riding coats and gloves. Whether you ride, or just like the style and functionality, we are sure you’ll be pleased with the quality and comfort of these products.
Akubra Hats
Akubra is known for the durability and comfort of their fur felt hats, and is recognized throughout the world for the Australian styling with a flair that reflects the independent, confident and sometimes adventurous spirit of the dinkum Australian. We offer a range of styles, including the classic Snowy River, the Cattleman, selected for the Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame as the style typifying the hats used by the cattlemen of Australia.
Geier Gloves
Geier Glove Company has been making driving and work gloves here in the state of Washington for over 70 years. Their leather gloves are known throughout the West for quality in fit and wear. Full-grain deer, goat, kangaroo, bison and elkskins are used. Some natural irregularities may be found, but any imperfections lowering the wearing qualities are avoided in cutting out the leather. For riding, we recommend the Kangaroo Leather Roper Glove, or the classic Western Fringed Gauntlet.
Braided Leather Whips
The manufacture of long lash whips, once a flourishing trade, has all but disappeared. As part of our specialty interest in leather braiding, we maintain this craft with a limited production of whips, all hand cut from selected hides and hand braided. You will find our whips used by cattlemen from Montana to Florida, and by animal trainers, stuntmen, and whip artists throughout America. The Pocket Snake was carried in the saddlebag by cowboys in the West. Useful in loading cattle or moving bulls, it was a hard-hitting shot whip with a wire-wound butt, unique to the West. We maintain a limited production of these whips.
