Our Celtic Jewelry
The Celts, whose lands spread across Europe from Hungary to Ireland two thousand years ago, left a rich legacy of art. They were skilled metal workers, with a strong interest in gold, silver and bronze ornaments for themselves and for their horse trappings. In Wales, where the language and culture survive with unbroken continuity from those early times, the Celtic design tradition is still part of the living heritage. Our Celtic jewelry is drawn from both modern Welsh and older Celtic sources, with design as timely today as it was two thousand years ago.
Our sterling silver Celtic jewelry, with the exception of the Scottish Heathergems jewelry, are either lost wax castings or stamped pieces made in the USA. Our selection of Heathergems jewelry, made from Scottish heather with sterling silver fittings is handcrafted in Pitlochry, Scotland. The sterling silver pendants come with with sterling silver chains. Most of our sterling silver jewelry is available for immediate delivery, and is shipped to you gift boxed with a card explaining the background of the design.
Our gold Celtic jewelry, including the Celtic Wedding & Engagement Rings and Celtic Crosses, are hand polished lost wax castings, made in the USA by a local manufacturing jeweler who shares our concern for quality. The gold pendants are sold without chains so that you may use a chain you already own, or select the chain weight and length that suits you best. Please check the individual piece for expected delivery time. Our most popular gold jewelry pieces, including the Gold Celtic Cross, are usually shipped within one week of receiving your order. Our gold rings and other gold jewelry are usually shipped within four weeks of receiving your order. Our gold jewelry is shipped to you gift boxed with a card explaining the background of the pieces.
